Yes, full time magistrates can judge a crime, part time magistrates need to seek legal advice
How may hours can a special constable work
Must work a minimum of 4 hours a week
Do special constables have the same powers as full time police officers

What is tribunal
A case is heard to deal with an issue at work, a mini court
What is the role of tribunal members
Tribunal members listen to the evidence in a tribunal and question parties and witnesses where appropriate.
What are your rights on arrest
“You do not have to say anything. But, it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.”

What is the point of law
The point of law is to make sure that the public is safe and that everyone is secure
Also to make sure that bad people are out of the public so they can be reformed
What is criminal law
This deals with offences such as murder and drug dealing, these cases are between the crown prosecution service and the offender
What is civil law
This covers disputes between individuals individuals or groups, often about rights
