A

Refers to the development and dynamic use of various coping styles and strategies in different environments to handle anything that threatens ones safety and security, wellbeing and a sense of control of one’s environment where the aim is to adapt cope and function optimally in the midst of such challenges.

Provide community psychology intervention approach

A

Consciousness raising: refers to organising campaign to raise awareness of community regarding psychosocial factors that affect their lives. Such campaign are SAPS awareness campaign

Social action: basic premise is that in order for social change to happen oppressive relationships and structures should be addressed through implementation empowerment strategy which refer to enabling community members to have personal sense of control ove Thier lives
