Theft by Unlawful Taking
A
Person is guily if (movable property)
- unlawfully takes or excersises unlawful control over movable property of another; and
- with itnent to deprive that person of the property

A
Deception is intentionally obtaining or withholding someone’s property by deception

Shoplifting
A
- ∆ takes possession of, carries away, transfers, or causes to be carried away or transferred merchandise; and
- with the intention of depriving the merchant of the possession, use, or benefit of the merchandise without paying full retail value

Theft of Property Lost, Mislaid, or Delivered by Mistake
A
Elements:
- the defendant came into control of property of another;
- he knew the property had been lost, mislaid, or delivered by mistake as to the nature or amount of the property or the identity of the recipient;
- he failed to take reasonable measures to restore the property to the person entitled to the property; and
- his intent was to deprive the owner of the property.

Receiving Stolen Goods
A
- ∆ intentionally received, retained, or disposed of movable property of another; AND
- either:
- knew that it had been stolen; or
- believed that it had probably been stolen, unless
- the property was received, retained, or disposed of with intent to restore it to the owner
