What is the first scene you want to talk about
When Jane returns to her aunt reeeds house to visit her when she is ill
Why did you chose this scene
Since the actors use there faces, voices and bodies to help tell the story along with effective use of proxemics and volume and tone of there voices
What was the second scene you chose
The second scene was when Jane gets ready for her wedding and introduces a new chapter to her life
Why did you think the acting in this scene was effective
Not only was it Jane’s performance in this scene which i found effective, but the mirroring of the chorus i found interesting, this is why it stood out
If you have time what is the final scene you have chosen to write about
The fire scene where actual fire erupts from behind the structure on stage, this connotation the themes of the play at that moment which are passion and destruction
What is your conclusion
To conclude, I think that there were many scenes in which the acting was effective and the actors used their faces, voices and bodies to help tell the story and successfully show their emotions. I also think the way that the directors used proxemics to give the actors moments when they are distanced and would feel isolated, and when they are surrounded by fellow actors to feel supported and close, was effective and useful
