Q

What would happen if the central executive was overworked (too much info) and overloaded (too complicated)?

A

You would struggle to complete the tasks. This is why when revising for an exam for a long period of time you are overworking the central executive which can lead to burn out and an inability to keep going or if you are trying to comprehend a very difficult maths puzzle, you can overload the executive and be unable to even process what you are doing anymore.
