The freikorps marched into Berlin and demanded a new government. The uprising nearly succeeded as over 5000 freikorps went to fight. The plan was to recover land taken from Germany during the treaty of Versailles and rebuild Germany’s military strength

Berlin stopped, there were no buses, trains, water, gas or electricity. They eventually abandoned their plans and fled to Sweden
