Runoff
When water is moving downhill.
Sublimation
Ice changing into water vapor with out first melting.
Precipitation
Water falls from clouds as rain, snow, sleet, or hail.
Condensation
Water vapor turning into liquid water.
Evaporation
Is the change of liquid water into water vapor.
Water cycle
The repeated movement of water in different forms.
Transpiration
When plants absorb water into there roots.
Fog
A cloud that forms at ground level.
Cumulus
White and fluffy clouds that have a mid altitude.
Stratus
Clouds that look like a grey blanket and are low altitude.
Cirrus
Thin and wispy clouds with a high altitude.
Vertical cloud/thunderhead/cumulonimbus
A mid to high altitude cloud that brings storms.
Rain
Precipitation that starts as ice crystals and turns into raindrops as the temperature rises.
Hail
Ice crystals that are blown into clouds and gather layers of water that freezes.
