Deep: A foundation that goes very deep into the ground and is usually used for corporate buildings or stadiums.

Structural: Walls that support the building
External: Walls that protect the inner part of the building from various weathers.
Retaining: Walls that act as a barrier between soil and water, and the building. Usually found in basements.
