A

Joseph Dodge an economic adviser for Japan from the US worked on rapidly building Japans capitalist economy, super balance budget failed as it led to unemployment. UN created GATT which managed international trade and minimise tariffs

1951 The Sans Francisco Peace Treaty

A

Between Japan and allied powers, excluding the USSR and the peoples republic of China. it recognised Japan as a sovereign state and allowed them control over military, economy and politicians, in return for the US - Japan security treaty that allowed US unrestricted use of military bases.
