God the father
This means that God’s relationship with the people is like the relationship between a father and a son. However this depicts God as being male and not female
God the son
Jesus was God’s incarnate, which means that they are God in physical, human form. He sacrificed himself to purify the sins of all people
The Christian teaching about the trinity
God can be understood in three ways; the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. Can be described as a Shamrock (three leaves but one plant)
God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God as he is in the world, working through the lives of Christians. He gives them courage, helps them through life, guides them to the right decisions and gives them spiritual gifts such as communicating with God through prayer
