A
Moses represents law and Elijah the prophets, Jesus fulfils the prophesies and the law

What does the voice from heaven symbolise?
A
God tells the disciples to listen to Jesus, especially when he tells them his plan to die

How does this influence Christians today?
A
it encourages them to listen to Jesus. The disciples failed to do this at Caesarea Philippi and God reminds them of the importance. But the can also be comforted to know that they may not understand everything God is doing Just like the disciples.
