Jesus heals Jairus’ daughter because Jairus asked him to. He demonstrates his authority over death and is also foreshadowing his own resurrection, he is showing his disciples he can do this great miracle.
He tests Jairus’ faith in him by stopping to talk to the woman. He demonstrates great compassion to her. He commends her for her faith

A

People follow Jesus to other side of lake. Even though he is tired he feels compassion and teaches them. Disciples are told to find some food and they bring 5 loaves and 2 fish
The people sit in groups of 50-100
Jesus takes the bread and fish prays over it and distributes. All are fed
and 12 baskets of food are leftover
