Incoming sensory info–> ENCODING (infor is converted to)–> STORAGE (info is retained in memory)–> RETRIVEAL (info is received from memory when needed)

A

conversion of info into useable forms so that it can be neurologically represented and stored in memory.

–> it comes first cuz it occurs at the same time as learning. Its through encoding that he brain can AQUIRE and represent incoming sensory info int useable form
