Jamestown was run by leaders chosen by the Virginia Company. Later, the residents elected their own representatives.
What was King Phillip’s War about? How did it end?
King Philip’s war was between New England colonists and Native American tribes, primarily the Wampanoag, led by Metacom/King Philip.
It ended with the capturing and enslaving of the Wampanoag and the killing of Metacom.
How did people in New England make money?
They profited off of selling fish, whale timber, and ships.

They made their money from tobacco, rice, and indigo, they were able to produce so much because of slavery.
