The Ten Commandments

You shall have no other Gods before me.

God should be your one and only God, and you should not put any God before him.

You shall not make idols.

You should not create false items of power for yourself to believe in and praise.

You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

You should not curse others using the name of our Lord.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Sunday is a day of rest, so you must not work on that day.

Honour your father and your mother.

You should respect your father and mother, for they raised you.

You shall not murder.

You should not take another’s life.

You shall not commit adultery.

You should not be involved in an affair with a woman (or man) that is not your wife.

You shall not steal.

You should not take the property of someone else, as it is not yours.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.

You should not lie and betray another person, persecuting them to something terrible in the process.

You shall not covet.

Answer 10

You should not desire, or lust for worldly things.
