Q

Method (4steps)

A
  1. Leave plants to soak in a bucket of water for about a week so fibres are easily extracted, (retting)/
/1. Celery sticks should be left in coloured water so the fibres are easily seen and pulled out
2.Connect fibre between 2 clamp stand
  2. Add masses in the middle till the fibre snaps
  3. Repeat with different fibres and different ways of combining them

Evaluation issues: 4 things

A

Maintaing lengths of fibres, Ensuring consistency when twisting or plaiting, Using fibres if the same age, extracting whole fibres is difficult
