A
A prayer made up of 3 passages from the Torah and is the most important prayer in Judaism. Jew recite the Shema every morning and evening.

A
It is commanded by God and God rewards those who follow his commands
The morning recitation should be recited as early as possible
The command to recite the Shema does not apply to women.
Jews must teach their children the Shema prayer and about the Jewish religion.
