Jesus is both God and human, if you see a person do unnatural things like resurrection it is not only amazing but also terrifying

He is the son of God, both fully human and divine, the Savior to allow us salvation, and the Messiah that was prophesied, other teachers simply pass down God’s teachings
What are the four great things Jesus has accomplished and what the Israelies expected from Yahwe?
1) Gather shepherd the tribes
2) Purify the holy temple
3) Overcome the enemies of Israel
4) Reign as the lord of the nations
What does it mean gathering shepherd the tribes ?
Gathering force with his heart, uses it as a magnet to gather the rest; he practiced open fellowship, accepted everyone the sick, women, poor (sickness previous seen as a curse, stopping them from worship)
Why did he gather/shepherd the tribes?
to build up his kingdom
What does the Kingdom is coming mean?
refers to the arrival of Gods reign over earth and future home, to welcome people to repent and live according to his will, Kingdom of heaven, all the things he taught he lived by
What does it mean purify the holy temple
- turned the tables around and said I will cleanse this place, signifies challenging corruption
- temple meant to be a place of genuine worship and not business, - worship god not only through a physical place but through jesus himself
“We become what we worship” meaning
affects us entirely, not only what we think but affect through all our actions

building and holy place to honor the real god but ppl prayed to the false God, cleansed by Jesus
