How did hyperinflation impact the very wealthy landowners
Positive impact - They were protected as land was a possession. Also they often held money in foreign currencies and had other possessions.
How did hyperinflation impact the middle class with savings
Negative impact - All their life saving were now worthless. May have taken 20 years to save 1000 marks but now they couldn’t even by bread with that.
How did hyperinflation impact the pensioners
Negative impact - Their income wouldn’t by them what they needed anymore
How did hyperinflation impact the poor with debts
Positive impact - They found it incredibly easy to pay off debts. Their debt of 10,000 marks could not be payed of with one banknote.

Why, when and who invaded the Ruhr
French invaded the Ruhr in 1923 as it was a rich industrial part of Germany. The French had debts with the US they needed the reparation money to pay off.
Why did Germany print money
They were bankrupt after WW1 and due to the treaty of versailles reparations they owed a lot of money and couldn’t pay it back quick enough.
Economic consequences of the invasion
The German government had to pay the striking workers and couldn’t keep up with the reparation payments.
