A

A

The British and US governments organised a committee of experts to discuss the issue of reparations. The five nations represented on the Dawes Committee were USA, UK, Italy, Belgium and France. America would lone 800 million marks to Germany.

A

It helped get Germany their industrial land back, had support from the US, had less reparations to pay and longer to pay it.
Some Germans, felt that Stresemann got bullies into accepting the deal and should have demanded the complete removal of the reparations. Their economy relied on the Americans

A

It led to more jobs meaning Germans earned more, creating a better economy. Some US companies also began to build factories in Germany.

A

Germany became more prosperous and many Germans were better off: healthier, happier and richer. Sale from the factories.
However many people including, Stresemann, believed they were relying too much on the US
