Sin and cos-crest become trough at 180 degrees and repeat at 360. tan- crest become trough at 90 degrees at 90 and repeat at 180.

At every x=90 degrees and intervals of 180 degrees.
What is the amplitude of a trigonometry graph?
From the x-axis to the highest point.
How would you draw the graph y=2sinx?
The graph must be drawn 0 to 360 degrees because each value of sin x has been multiplied by 2 the amplitude must be 2. Label the graph y=2sinx.
How should you solve bearings questions?
Draw the bearings and find angles such as complementary, supplementary, alternate etc.
How do you know if you need to plus or minus for the elimination method?
You minus if there is an identical variable term in standard form eg. 2x+y=8 and 2x+3y=4.
When should you use elimination?
When the equations can be added together to make the variables disappear and when all the coefficients are more than 1.
What is the formula of the vertex?
-b over 2a is x coordinate, sub answer in equation to get y eg y=(x-2)*2-4, -4 over 2 because a is coefficient of x.
How do you find interquartile range?
Find the median of the upper and lower halves of the set of data.
How do you draw a graph off an equation?
Sub points such as 0,1,2,-1,-2 into the equation to get points than draw line through.
How do you find the total in the ogive?
The top number in the graph.
How do you find the median in an ogive?
Divide the total by two or if the number is even average the two numbers at the halfway of it.
How do you draw a box and whisker plot?
Draw a number line at the bottom of the section and order your data from least to greatest. Median number for set of data is second quartile(q2) and median for lower and upper sets of data are q1 and q3 respectively. Then find minimum and maximum values in data set. Draw lines at each quartile and join them as a box and then draw lines to minimum and maximum values branching from box.
