A

Life= consumption. People value less connection and more what they own. Sacrifice, family, work to fulfil life with purchases. NRE sell the purchase of religious ideals such as movies. Traditional religions reject excessive wealth. NRE also reject ideals of wealth in traditional religions such as corruption in catholic church in 16th century.
e.g Pentecostalism such as their “Christian development programs that will “help you in your enjoyment of God’s world”.
Opposite is Hare Krishnas Hinduistic New religious expression formed in 1966 severe disciple ‘Mauna’ vows of silence and total renunciation of material life to bring them closer to self-realisaton and away from distrations.
