Simony means bribery. It was the selling of church positions.
What was pluralism?
Pluralism was taking up a church position in more than one parish or dioceses.
What was absenteeism?
Absenteesim was when a church leader did not live in the parish they were in charge of.
What is meant by the term ‘reformation’?
Reformation refers to a time of change in the church when the church split into Catholic and Protestant.

A papal bull is a letter from the Pope.
