In what way was the Textile revolution the spark or trigger for further industrial revolution?

A

Improvements in textile machinery led to bigger and bigger factories being built. Factories were also needed to build the machines. Transport needed improving to distribute the all the materials (coal, iron, machinery parts, textiles) to where they were needed.
