The three principles of justice are Fairness, Equality and Accessability.

What are the focus points for fairness?
A
- Fair legal processes are in place
- All parties receive a fair hearing.
It means that fair legal processes are in place, and all parties receive a fair hearing. It does not mean everyone is treated the same.

What are the focus points for equality?
A
- All people are treated equally before the law
- Everyone has an equal opportunity to present their case
Equality, is treating everyone equally regardless of their personal characteristics. This means, that the decision made is given my an impartial, competent judge/ court.

What are the focus points for access?
A
- An ability to peruse their case
- An understanding of legal rights
Access, means that people have access to courts and tribunals. Furthermore, they have access to institutions who offer legal advise. They may offer advice on criminal case. They should not be out of reach.
