Tibial nerve is particular vulnerable to compression, and the damage can present as leg anaesthesia. (As the popliteal fascia is strong and non compressible)
What is a Bakers Cyst?
Inflammation and swelling of the semimebranosus bursa
What are some of the complications of the bakers cyst?
Can rupture and produce symptoms like deep vein thrombosis
What are the contents of the popliteal fossa?
Popliteal Atery, popliteal vein, tibial nerve and common fibular nerve
