Describe the political nation

A

members of society who influence how a country is run through enforcing the law, finance and politics. the whole population was not inc in the political nation e.g. peasants.

A

The monarch who has royal prerogative then the council and parliament. Parish officials e.g. constables and church wardens were at the bottom of the political nation.

monarch had to rely on the P.N to collect taxes and enforce. e.g. J.P’s enforce the crown’s will
unwritten constitution= down 2 int. + enable compromise
financially parliament had to raise taxes for war

those in the political nation has to support the hierarchy. divine right= most authority
the king owned crown land and feudal dues and could give out knighthoods

A

when God has appointed everyone’s’ position in society therefore it should be accepted and u must stay in your place.
