What do liberal feminists believe when it comes to the separation of the public and the private spheres?
private sector concerns those aspects of our lives particular to ourselves. Modes of behaviours that do x affect others and especially not state. as long as actions do not harm others, no justification for interference. Private sphere relates to how men and women interact and how women themselves choose to live.

public sphere, actions affect others and become govt concern. example- how men treat women. Thus the position of women in society is the concern of all, feminists in particular, it is in public sphere. Includes sexist cultural attitudes, low wages and discrimination in general.
