A roasted hard-boiled egg is to remind them of the mourning of the destruction of their temple

What is the roasted bone for?
To remind us of the Pesach offerings that would be brought to the holy temple in Jerusalem
What is charoset?
A mixture of ground apples, nuts ginger, cinnamon, and red wine. Looks like mortar to symbolise what the skaves had to do in Egypt
What is the karpas?
A vegetable which is dipped into salt water and eaten. To reminded them of the sweat and tears they ahead as slaves
