Supports the tube and connects to the base
Arm
holds the slide containing the specimen to be viewed
Stage

Mirror
Holds the eyepiece where the specimen is viewed and the revolving nosepiece, which holds the low power objective and the high power objective
Body Tube
moves the tube and low power objective lens closer or farther away from the stage to view image of specimen
Coarse adjustment knob
moves the stage up and down brings an image of the specimen into five focus showing more clearly the detailed prats or the specimen
Fine adjustment knob
provides supports and serves as a stand
Base
Allows the viewer to look through and see the magnified image of the specimen
Eyepiece Lens
holds the slide in place
Clip
revolves to properly position the desired lens
Nosepiece
magnifies the image or the specimen
Objective Lens
controls the amount of light that reaches the specimen
Diaphragm Lever
