The Order of the National Artist Flashcards
Established under Proclamation No. 1001, s. 1972, it is the highest national recognition given to Filipino individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of Philippine arts.
The Order of the National Artists
Institution that administers the award. The president of the Philippines grants this award to a person that is recommended by both institutions every three (3) years.
