Sirens
A goddess-enchantress who turns some of Odysseus’ crew into swine, she reverses the spell and becomes Odysseus’ lover for a year, advising him well when he departs.
Circe
Also known as “the Cyclops,” is the one-eyed cannibal giant who traps Odysseus and a scouting party in his cave and is blinded when they escape.
Polyphemus
An addicting flower almost like a drug that was given to Odysseus and his men on their journey.

A goddess-nymph, she holds Odysseus captive for seven years, sleeping with him, hoping to marry him, and releasing him only at Zeus’ order.
Calypso
The central figure in the epic, employs guile as well as courage to return to Ithaca, defeat the suitors, and resume his proper place as king.

The Trojan war started with Eris throwing a golden apple onto the table. Then Athena Hera and Aphrodite claimed the apple. Then Paris had to choose who picks it. Paris picked Aphrodite and made Helen and Paris fall in love like he wanted. When they left, he took all of Menelaus royal treasures.
How did the war end?
The Greeks won the war with the wooden horse.
