Q

The trigeminal nerve splits into three divisions, what are they?

A
  • The opthalmic division - sensory of soft tissue around the eye and upper face
  • The maxillary division - sensory supply of the upper teeth, the maxilla and the middle area of the face.
  • The mandibular division - sensory supply of the lower teeth, the mandible, the lower area if the face, the motor supply to the muscles of mastication and some of the suprahyoids.
