Bias
a particular tendency or trend that is preconceived or unreasoned
Constant

Control
One in which the subject or a group would not be tested for the dependent variables

Dependent Variable
the event studied and expected to change when the independent variable is changed.

Independent Variable
a variable that is intentionally changed to observe its effect on the dependent variable

statements based on repeated experiments or observations that describe or predict a range of natural phenomena.
Scientific Method
an empirical method of acquiring knowledge that has characterized the development of science.
Standard
a rule or principal that is used as a basis for judgement
Technology
a scientific or industrial process, invention, method, or the like.
