Q
The problem of induction
A
Within logical reasoning the definition of induction is the inference of a general law from particular instances. In essence the production of facts to prove a general statement.
Einstein proving Newtonian physics is not the greatest.
Either we abandon any talk of discovering laws of nature that apply at all time and all places, or we abandon the claim that science is strictly empirical. Neither option seems viable, hence we keep doing what we do even though it’s flawed.
