Describes something or someone that is skilled in breaking a whole into its parts and examining its relationship.
Ex: Using my analytical skills, I looked through the story, searching for context clues to try to find out the mystery of the missing vase.

Ex: I flipped over my homework, analyzing the work carefully for any given answers.

Describes something that has no result or affect.
Ex: His efforts were futile against my powerful army and money in the board game.

To forgive, overlook or allowed in offense.
Ex: His lies and actions should not be condoned since its misleading other kids into thinking his actions are good.
