Murmur

Soft, indistinct sound; not very noticeable.
Ex: The loud engine sound coming from the car, slowed into a soft murmur.
Annihilate
(Verb)
To destroy completely, to obliterate.
Ex: Some people want to annihilate the spiders and pests off the Earth, but the pests actually help maintain homeostasis.
Expendable
(Adjective)
To be used once and then abandoned or destroyed.
Ex: The Chinese food containers are meant to be expendable.
Correlate
(Verb)
To have a mutual relationship or connection in which one thing depends on another.
Ex: My brother and I have a correlate relationship, he depends on me for help with homework and I depend on him for someone to help me practice for my sports.
Paradox
(Noun)
Something such as a situation that is made up of two things that seems impossible; but isn’t.
Ex: “Would we be able to see ourselves? After all we are time traveling back to 30 minutes ago.” I asked the time traveler.
“That would be impossible but possible, or in other words a paradox. We want to avoid those because who knows what our old selves would think.” he replied.
Delirium
(Noun)
Sudden severe confusion, delirious=adjective.
Ex: This math problem is a delirium. It makes me confused with all its complicated numbers and possibilities.
Resilient
(Adjective)
Able to recoil or spring back into shape after bending. Able to become strong or successful after something bad.
Ex: Breaking a friendship can be sad at first, but after a while you can become resilient to the event and just move on.
Undulate
(Verb)
To move in a smooth, wave like motion.
Ex: The waves undulated in a cyclic and soothing motion.
Stagnant
(Adjective)
Still; cease to flow or move
Ex: The squashed bug squirmed, but after a few minutes it became stagnant.
Revoke
(Verb)
To cancel the power or effect of something like a law or agreement.
Ex: The unsuccessful law has been revoked, which made everyone rejoice.
