Describe the system of farming the manor

A

The manor was the name given to the estate of a medieval lord. In their man characteristics, manors were alike in most parts of Europe. Grain and veggies were grown for food, cattle were raised for the meat and milk and sheep for wool. Three field system helped farmers rotate crops. One was used for winter planting, one for summer crops, and one was left empty and uncultivated.

They worked for the family and were extremely poor, and rarely had enough money to feed themselves.he could not marry.

The seneschal was responsible for all the manors of any one lord=, and he was required to to visit them regularly he was to be a man of prudence and judgment. The bailiff superintended the work of the serfs, was to rise early every morning and survey the woods, corn, pastures, and the willows
