-surface (birds and plants with plenty of oxygen and light

• Near the North and South poles
(very few plants and animals survive)
Where is the Taiga located?
• Scandinavia, Russia, Canada
(evergreen trees thrive)
Where are deciduous forests located?
• Europe and the USA
(strong seasons)
Where is temperate grassland located?
• South Africa, Argentina, USA
(grass and trees that thrive in mild conditions)
Where are Deserts located?
• Near the tropics of cancer and capricorn
Where are rainforests located?
• along equator
Where is savannah located?
• central africa
(long grasses, scattered trees in dry conditions)
