- the lib dems are an alliance of the 2 parties (Liberal Party and the Social Democrat Party)
- in 1988, the lib dems were formed
- in 2005, they reached the height of their success, when their party gained 62 seats
- 2010: coalition era ππ€πΌ
- lost most seats in 2015 due to broken promises with raising tuition fees and they developed too many conservative tendencies
