October 1939 - a program to euthanise the disabled and mentally ill.

They followed Operation Barbarossa to Russia, and rounded up and shot 700,000 Russian Jews in the streets.
What law concerning Jews was passed on 1st September 1941?
The compulsory wearing of the Star of David at all times.
What conference did Heydrich chair and when was it?
The Wansee Conference in January 1942.
What was decided and Wannsee and by who?
That the Jews were to be exterminated by the means of gas chambers - this was decided by the top Nazi officials, as Hitler was not present.
When was Auschwitz built and opened?
Spring 1942.
When was Auschwitz destroyed and why?
November 1944 - the Soviets were moving in, and Himmler wanted there to be no evidence of mass killings.

Around 6 million.
