What is the problem?
Sinful and separated from God - Isaiah 59:2 (ESV)

so that he does not hear.
Worthy of God’s just retribution - Ephesians 2:3 (ESV)
3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.
What demonstrates God’s love?
God is loving - 1 John 4:8 (ESV)
8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Jesus is God - John 1:1 (ESV)

Jesus lived and died as our substitute - 2 Corinthians 5:21 (ESV)

How do we respond to the gospel?
Repentance - Acts 20:21 (ESV)
