It is the whole system of human interactions. The modern world system is structured politically as an interstate system - a system of competing and allying states

- Semi periphery
- Periphery
High income nations in the world economy. They are dominant capitalist that exploit peripheral countries for labor and raw materials
Core
Closer ties to the core. These are the countries with middle income countries, such as India and brazil
Semi periphery
Called as low income countries, whose natural resources or labor support the wealthier countries. They are dependent to core countries
Periphery
Represent the short term fluctuation of economy, while secular trends mean deeper long run tendencies, such as general economic growth or decline
Cyclical rhythm
Mean deeper long run tendencies, such as general economic growth or decline
Secular trends
Occurs if constellation of circumstances bring about the end of the system

Refers to the increasing importance of international trade, international relations, treaties, alliances, and many more international means between nations
Internationalization
Refers to global economic integration of many formerly national economies into one global economy, mainly by free trade and free capital mobility, but also easy or uncontrolled migration.

The people that lives together and share the same culture, history, language or ethnicity and have a government
