Describe the arterial and venous supply of the system

• The testes receive their blood supply via the testicular arteries which arise from the anterior surface of the abdominal aorta.
• The testicular vein terminates in the inferior vena cava
• The blood supply passes through anterolateral wall of the abdomen, passes through the deep inguinal ring, through the inguinal canal, emerges at the superficial inguinal ring and descend into the testes

Describe the passage of the spermatic cord

The ductus (vas) deferens is a muscular tube that carriers spermatozoa from the testes to the prostatic urethra. It runs from the testes through the inguinal canal in the spermatic cord. It then crosses the external iliac vessels and is joined by the duct of the seminal vesicles to form the ejaculatory duct, which pierces the base of the prostate and opens into the prostatic urethra
