Most of them were slaves and were not in the patrician class

They were segregated even in death and were publicly imarginilised

Describe equites?
Fought on horses with spears and a gladius. Dressed in a full tunic.
Describe the andabates?
They amused the audience because they fought blindfolded wearing a visor
Describe the bestiarii
Fought with the wild animals and were only allowed a spear
Describe the Essedari
Fought on chariots with a bow and spear
Describe the murmillones
Fought with gladius whilst wearing a styled helmet and arm guard
Describe the Retiarii
Fought with a trident and didn’t wear much clothes
Describe the thraces
Similar to a machete thraces use a Thracian curved sword and wear a broad-rimmed helmet

Used throwing spears and would always cast it before a battle. Were fully armored.

A structure were the wild animals were kept before battles
How were the gladiatorial games started?
It started off at funerals of wealthy nobles. Romans believed human blood could purify the soul. They were originally called the funeral games.
