What is there Story?
The Bacardi family had long been discussing the idea of the Facundo Rum Collection. However, it was not until the family starting prepping for Bacardi’s 150th anniversary that they realized that the time was right to unlock their private reserve to share with the world, creating the first luxury rum collection in existence.
The Facundo Rum Collection embodies Don Facundo Bacardi Masso’s tireless dedication to the art of the rum-making and celebrated the more than 150 years that Don Facundo’s family spent carrying on his pursuit of mastering rum making. It is in his honor the FACUNDO RUM Collection was created.

What did Facundo L Bacardi dream off?
“My family and I dreamed of a collection of rums that could be sipped in a progression of occasions – from visiting with friends and relaxing, or a reward at the end of a long day at work – to something that can be proudly served as the perfect complement to only the most special occasions.
How many Sipping Rums are there?
Set of Four Sipping Rums- a limited annual release of the most exquisite, rare, extraordinary rums that have ever before been publicly shared. Sourced from the Facundo Bacardi family’s private reserves and never before released to the public.
Blended by Bacardi’s top two Maestro’s (Manny Oliver & Jose Gomez) with over 70 years of experience combined, the collection was created in close partnership between the Maestro’s & Facundo Bacardi. They are hand-blended & aged in an authentic style in the tropics for up to 23 years.
How many steps are there in the production process?
7 Steps
The art of rum starts with the selection of high quality sugar cane
Fermentation, yeast turns the sugar into alcohol
Distillation - Two types of spirits are column distilled. Aguardiente a heave bodied spirit that forms the raw robust essence and Redestilado a light bodied subtle spirit that delivers the signature smoothness
Charcoal Mellowing - enhances the natural flavouring
Aging - Neo Aged 1 to 8 years, Eximo Aged 10 to 12 years, Exquisito aged 7 to 23 years, Pariso - on average 18 to 23 years
Blending was done before aging
Finishing allowed to finish in sherry casts and French XO Casks

What is Neo?
A blend with light to medium body rums with a minimum age of 1 year in oak barrels, some of these blends are aged for 8 years
Neo is Charcoal Filtered after agining to remove any color, while still retaining its oaky aroma, with hints of almond and floral notes
It is a perfectly balanced blend of medium to heavy-bodied rums; smooth with sweet not4es and a clean balanced finish
Neo can be explored in a cocktail but its roundness, almond and floral notes are best showcased when served on the rocks
What is Eximo?
Eximo is the only rum in the collection that is blended before aging, a process which relies on the Master Blender to expertly tailor the flavor and aroma balance before Nature’s contribution through agining - 10 years in advance
Eximo is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to fuilly experience the lust roundness and lingering finish of the rum
Matured in white oak barrels over a decade allowing for a smooth rich finished with both notes of walnuts and vanilla
Aroma has nuances of vanilla, toffee, honey with subtle notes of bittersweet chocolate
What is Exquisito?
Exquisito is aged in white oak casks imparting notes of walnut and butterscotch. After aging, Exquisito is rested in sherry casks, resulting in a finish with lingering nots of raisins and toasted walnuts#
Exquisito is the perfect marriage of fruitier, younger rums aged 7 years and smokier, older rums aged up to 23 years creatinng distinct aromas and taste of this smooth silky blend
Aroma is definitive yet delicately balanced with nuances of vanilla, walnut and sweet sherry notes
Facundo Exquisitio is best served near or over a sphere of ice after dinner for enjoying the moment. is a perfect gift for the host
What is Paraiso?
Paraiso means paradise as these rums represent the culmination of the Facundo Rum Collection
Aged up to 23 years Paraiso features a unique blend of the finest most distinguished rums in the private Bacardi Family Reserves
Paraiso is a medium body rum with a deep amber colour
Facundo Paraiso is meant to be savored neat, especially on momentous occasions
