What is the job of the cornea
It is transparent which means light can get through and it also helps to refract light
What is the job of the Iris
to control how big and small the pupil gets
what is the job of the Lens
to refract light back and change its shape to control how strongly it refracts the light so it can focus on the retina at the back
What does the Retina contain
Cones and rods
What do the cone cells do
they are what helps us see in colour
what do the rod cells do
Lets us see in black and white when light sensitivity is lower
what is the job of the fovea
this is where most of the cone cells are and help us see colour
where is the Aqueous Humor found
it is the large space between the Cornea and the Iris
where is the Vitreous Humor found
it is the very very large space at the back of the eye behind the lens
what is the job of the optic nerve
to send electrical impulses to the brain
where is the blind spot located
just in front of the optic nerve inside the eye
what is the Sclera
It is a tough and protective outer layer of the eye
what is the Choroid
It is a black reflective surface inside of the eye
