  • Yakov Yurovsky accompanied by 6 Hungarians
  • They shot the family to death, used acid and fire to hide their identities and hid the bodies
  • Lenin did allow for this to go ahead

  • Ekaterinburg itself fell to the Czechs 8 days after the Romanovs’ murder
