Enkidu’s Dream

-Creature- somber faced bird man with lion foot and eagle talon
-Enkidu was transformed into wings covered with feathers
-Creature led Enkidu to Palace of Irkalla, the Queen of darkness, kings with peasants
-Enkidu awakes as Keeper of Death book questions him
-No immortality to those who go to the underworld

The Flood

-Enlil gives Ut and his wife immortality

The Return

-Gilga has to stay awake for 6 days and 7 nights to be immortal
-Utna’s wife bakes loaves of bread for each night Gilga sleeps
-Utna turns Gilga over to ferryman- Urshanabi
-Secret underwater plant that restores youth
-Snake steals it
-Returns without immortality
