- some LEDCs have a GNI lower than $500 per year.

UK - $33,800 per year.
Bangladesh - $1,340 per year.
Compare the percentage of workers employed in farming in MEDCs with LEDCs.
MEDCs - low percentage because farming is highly mechanised.
LEDCs - high percentage because farming is still not mechanised and is labour intensive
